Creating leverage to achieve an inclusive society
Coalition Building
Bringing about sustainable change often requires the support and action of a united front. We have more leverage when joining forces with like-minded organisations, actors, and authorities to fight for common goals and beliefs.
International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC) Liliane Fonds is a member of the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC). IDDC alignes civil society organisations to promote inclusive international development and humanitarian action for people with disabilities. We share the focus on the full and effective enjoyment of human rights by all people with disabilities living in economically poor communities in lower and middle-income countries. |

Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development (DCDD) Liliane Fonds actively participates in the Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development (DCDD) – a network of organisations that advocates for the inclusion of people with disability in developing countries. The DCDD focuses on influencing policy, including that of the Dutch government and the European Commission. It aims to make policy and implementation more accessible to people with a disability, for example, concerning emergency aid, employment, and income. |

The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) Liliane Fonds is a steering committee member of the Dutch coalition of the Global Campaign for Education (GCE-NL), the largest global network that campaigns for the right to education for children and youngsters in low and middle-income countries. In this coalition, Liliane Fonds takes up its role to create awareness and focus amongst politicians and policymakers on ‘inclusive education’ instead of just ‘education’. Last year, we organised a webinar with DCDD to raise awareness of disability inclusive education and to disseminate a tool that makes educational programmes more accessible to children with disabilities. |

CBR Global Network (CGN) Liliane Fonds has been part of the CBR Global Network (CGN) since 2019. This global network includes multiple organisations working on the availability of community based rehabilitation (CBR). Through the collaborative strength of CGN, we can work towards our goal even more broadly and internationally. |
